Essential Oils + Negative Lifestyle = Poor Results. I Life Essentially Wellness Advocate
Using oils without caring and doing what you should to heal all aspects of your life is like putting a humidifier and a dehumidifier in a room and letting them fight it out.

I am going to be incorporating some movement progressions - like this Hollow Body progression into my adrenal supporting routines that I'm going to really focus in on over the next 12 weeks. Core is so difficult for me.

In France, Sweet Basil Essential oil is known as the mother healing oil. The oil's capability to improve memory and sharpen the mind has been praised in India since old. Basils possible neuro-regulating properties is why in France they use it for the support of mild nervous disorders, stress and anxieties. It is noted as a natural nerve tonic, with the ability to be stimulant and/or restorative depending on the body's needs.

In 'Aromatherapy - Scent and Psyche', Peter Damian states: "the nervine properties effectually stimulate the sympathetic nerves and strengthen the adrenal cortex (YAY for adrenal healing). Basil has cerebrospinal effects as well. It is therefore frequently recommended for numerous nervous afflictions, including epilepsy and paralysis...Its versatility as a psychotherapeutic agent having homeostatic effects makes basil particularly valuable as a remedy for assorted psychological or psychosomatic complaints."

Stay away from pine essential oil and other needle leaf based oils - when you are creating an aroma. We learned at Bastyr that it's an adrenal stimulant and you don't want to stimulate the adrenals, you want to heal and strengthen the adrenals. I keep seeing these "tree" oil blends because it makes people feel like they have more energy... but really you are overtaxing the already overtaxed adrenal system - even if it gives you more energy.

My aromatherapy and topical adrenal blend includes basil, bergamot, clary sage, vetiver, ylang ylang, and sweet orange ... and another two oils that are part of my wellness supporting stash. One of those two is a beautiful, radiant oil and is the color of azure blue. The other has some of the highest levels of beta-caryophyllene in the world. It is documented to contain 50 percent beta-caryophyllene. How amazing is that??
