Essential Oil Spotlight - Wild Orange

Did you know Orange Essential Oil may help reduce feelings of anxiety? Cold-pressed from the orange peel, Orange essential oil is excellent for energizing and revitalizing, as well as calming aroma. It is also commonly used as an effective tool for uplifting mood, as well as for its wonderful citrus aroma. It's great support when dealing with seasonal irritants, and has been used to help kids relax at our local dentist’s office.

You can cook with it, and it's great in water to make a tasty drink throughout the day. Always great to have some way to drink more water. You can even make an all-purpose spray to help cleanse your counters with this amazing oil because of it's antibacterial properties.

And it's great for these dry winter months. As a cosmetologist I like to use it when making a DIY skin scrub. 

It is one of those oils that has been deemed safe to use with newborns when properly diluted for aromatherapy . It's one of the reasons that essential oils are so beneficial. Of course using dilution for any essential oil application with infants, children or those with immune deficiencies is important.
