Spotlight On Essential Oil - Lemongrass

One of my favorite oils is Lemongrass. Many migraine sufferers find it effective and supportive. It is considered to have antiseptic and astringent properties, and I've used it in salon practice to help cleanse oily skin and help close pores. 

It can support mental acuity and help stabilize and balance emotions with it's calming aroma, especially during times of distress and emotional trauma. It is an effective, and supportive pain relief support tool. It has been used in clinical studies to lower cholesterol if you would like to read about that.

Lemongrass has long been used in Asian and Caribbean cooking due to its subtle lemony flavor and aroma. It has been found to support healthy digestion, and soothe aching muscles. For topical, aromatic or dietary use.
