"Tea Tree" Or Melaleuca Essential Oil Benefits I Life Essentially

Rain Rain go away... at least for a couple of days!

Recognized by its more common name "tea tree", melaleuca has been revered for its cleansing and regenerative properties, especially for the skin. Composed of more than ninety different compounds, melaleuca has limitless therapeutic applications. Melaleuca essential oil has over 92 different compounds, making it one of the most useful oils you can have in your home. It has been researched for over twenty years in Australia making it one of my most used oils in our home.

Having all of the allergies I do, melaleuca is one of my most used essential oils. It supports me whenever my sinuses are acting up, which happens a lot in the Seattle Washington area. It Protects against environmental and seasonal threats and Promotes healthy immune function. I like to use one to two drops to water, citrus drinks, or veggie caps... or even a drop at the base of the nose.

Just yesterday I was driving back from my daughter's classes and grabbed it out of my purse to rub around my ear. My ear was throbbing (first earache in a long time) because the storms were rolling in, and within minutes I felt much better. We have had a record year for rain in the Pacific Northwest, and I am really ready for some sunshine although that will be hay fever season. So this is nature's toolbox to help me live a more balanced life, and I appreciate what essential oils do for me. Lots of times when I feel like a storm is rolling in I apply a little to my feet before bed, and that does WONDERS! I love melaleuca!!
